Disappearing cursor?

I hooked up my JSpell Evolution trial copy to one of my forms. It works great once I start typing, but when I click on it when it doesn't have any text in it yet, there's no blinking cursor anymore. The problem only appears to occur in Firefox. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong or how to make it show up?

Also, is there an easy way to turn off the automatic spell-checking in Firefox, since it already has a spell checker enabled by default?

We are experiencing the same problem with a disappearing cursor in firefox.

Additionally - if I enter text that is longer than my text field display area - a scroll bar appears in the text field.

This only happens in Firefox and is a major problem for us.

I see the same disappearing cursor problem with my eval copy in Firefox (v. 2.0.0.11).

By the way, you can turn off Firefox's native spell checking by going to Tools / Options, then go to the Advanced tab and un-check the 'Check my spelling as I type' box.
