jspellSync cutting off letters?

Intermittently, the jspellSync function seems to be cutting off the first 2 letters in textareas when the form is submitted. We have quite a few textareas on the page (10) and it does not effect all of them. When it does happen, it's usually 2 of them. This is installed on a IIS6 server.

Ideas?

Do you have any way to reproduce this reliably?

Unfortunitly, no. And, I know this intermittent thing is a pain to troubleshoot. This is why I was asking if anyone else was experiencing it.
