I am evaluating spell checking systems for use in a Ajax/Java/JSP application. JSpell Evolution would meet most of our requirements, but there are a couple I'm unsure of.
1. The manual includes the following paragraph discussing the ability to create custom dictionaries:
"The Solution Café has solutions to compile and create your own custom server-side dictionary. Please inquire about the JSpell Console utility which will let you build a JSpell compatible dictionary from a word list text file."
We will need to allow users to submit words that would go through an approval process before being added to a global supplemental dictionary. Is there an API that would allow us to build a web application for administering this global supplemental dictionary? If there is, is this included in JSpell Evolution, or would we need to purchase the SDK separately?
2. We are using version 3.0 of the TinyMCE editor. From reading the documentation, I don't see any reason that JSpell Evolution would have problems with it, but can you verify that JSpell Evolution will work with TinyMCE 3.0?
Thanks,
Greg
